Payments
There are many ways to make payment:
- Interactive Voice Response through Xpress Bill Pay now offered
What is the IVR System? The IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system provides you with a complete bill payment system over the phone. You can pay your bills anytime, anywhere. All you need is a phone.
How does it work? Dial the toll free number 888.824.9250 and provide your account number to locate your bill.
The IVR system will tell you your account balance comma the payment due date comma and then guide you to make your payment using a credit card debit card, or eCheck.
You are provided with a confirmation number and notified whether the transaction was successful or not.
At the end of the call, you have the option to set up Auto Pay.
Additionally, you may call the payment center (385.218.0343) and make payments over the phone with a live operator.
Both the IVR system and our payment center offer service in English in Spanish. (Note: Payment center Spanish service hours vary.)

Non-Payments Shutoffs
Any utility that is disconnected for non-payment will be subject to a $60 service charge during normal operating hours. For reconnection the entire past due amount plus all service charges must be paid in full prior to service being restored.

When is my utility bill due?
Payments are due by the 25th of every month to avoid penalties.
What if my services have been disconnected for non-payment?
Contact MWE at 928.865.2229 to pay reconnect fees. Any past due balance plus fees must be paid in full to re-establish service.
How do I connect services?
Obtain a service application here, email service application to mwesupport@fmi.com then contact MWE at 928.865.2229 to make payment for connect fees/deposit.
Where can I report a water leak?
Please call MWE at 928.865.2229, leave message with address and location of where leak is.
What forms of payment do you receive?
Credit/Debit Cards, Money Order, Check and Cash.
How soon will my utilities be turned on after I complete application and pay the deposit?
MWE has up to 5 business day to turn utilities on.
Will I receive my deposit back?
Deposits are applied to accounts with good payment history after 1 year of residency in location. Anything before a year a refund will be made accordingly.
